On this page
This section describes only the global navigation and the header of the Energy Management Service.
It serves as a standalone UI reference and is not mixed with other functional areas.
Header (Top Bar)
The header is located at the top of the user interface and is visible in all areas of the Energy Management Service.
Service and Context Display
On the left side of the header, the following information is shown:
- the currently active Smart Service
- the currently opened section within that service
Example:
Energy Management Service → Dashboards
This display provides orientation regarding:
- which service the user is currently in
- on which functional level the user is working
The display is informational only and not clickable.
Right Side of the Header
On the right side of the header, the following functions are available:
- access to personal settings
- logout function
These elements apply globally across Proficloud.io and are independent of the Energy Management Service.
Left Navigation Menu
Position and States
The left navigation menu is located on the left side of the workspace.
It has two possible states:
- expanded
- collapsed
In the collapsed state, only icons are displayed.
In the expanded state, both icons and text labels are shown.
Navigation Within the Energy Management Service
The navigation menu allows users to switch between different sections of the Energy Management Service, for example:
- Dashboards
- Metrics
- Calculations
- Rates
- Reports
- Tree Access
- Alerts
Clicking a menu entry:
- changes the main content area
- keeps the header and navigation menu visible
Switching to Other Smart Services
The navigation menu also allows switching to other Smart Services on Proficloud.io.
When switching services:
- the Energy Management Service is exited
- the selected Smart Service is fully loaded
Separation From Fullscreen Modes
The behavior of the header and navigation menu differs depending on the fullscreen mode.
Dashboard Fullscreen Mode
When a dashboard is switched to fullscreen:
- the entire screen is used
- the header and navigation menu are hidden
- the focus is exclusively on the dashboard area
Widget Fullscreen Mode
When a single widget is switched to fullscreen:
- fullscreen applies only to the dashboard area
- the header remains visible
- the navigation menu remains visible
This allows:
- preservation of context
- navigation while performing analysis
