General Information

The User Management Service is a central smart service on the IIoT platform Proficloud.io.

It is used for the management of users, roles, organizations, and access rights to other smart services, devices, and dashboards.

The User Management Service is available free of charge and forms the foundation for all other smart services on Proficloud.io.

General Description

Within the User Management Service, users within an organization can:

• invite additional users,
• assign and modify roles,
• control access to devices and dashboards,
• switch between organizations or create new organizations,
• view roles and permissions across services.

The User Management Service is organization-based.

All roles, permissions, and user assignments apply exclusively within the currently active organization.

Organizations are completely isolated from one another.

• invitations,
• role changes,
• removal of users

Visible History

• The only visible information is:
• who invited a user,
• when the invitation was accepted
