What is the Energy Management Service?
The Energy Management Service is an innovative Smart Service that helps companies increase their energy efficiency and reduce energy costs. By utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, the Smart Service enables comprehensive analysis and optimization of energy consumption. The main features include:
- Energy Monitoring: Customers can monitor their energy consumption in near real-time. This allows them to identify trends and patterns and make informed decisions about their energy usage.
- Comparison of energy data: The service offers the ability to compare energy data across different devices and time periods. This can help customers identify which devices or times are using the most energy.
- Alerting System: The integrated alerting system notifies customers when their energy consumption exceeds a certain threshold. This can help avoid high costs for exceeding their energy usage.
- External data sources: External data sources can be used for analysis in the Energy Management Service, allowing data from external sources (CSV file) to be included in displays. This allows for immediate comparison of historical and current data upon using Proficloud.io. Additionally, ‘virtual devices’ can be created within the Energy Management Service for reuse in future reports and dashboards.
- EnPI reports: Simple reports with Energy Performance Indicators (EnPI) are created to assess and track energy efficiency. By analyzing EnPI data, areas for improvement are identified, targets are set, and informed decisions are made to optimize energy consumption.
