To connect a MachineManager to Proficloud.io, a gateway solution is required. Our recommended solution is to use the EM-MODBUS-GATEWAY-IFS in combination with the Edge PC 1502. You can also use any other device running NodeRED instead of the Edge PC 1502.

After the physical installation is done, connect the Ethernet port of the EM-MODBUS-GATEWAY-IFS to X2 of the Edge PC. Connect X3 needs to a network with unrestricted internet access.
